I have been watching the western wall on a live webcam for months. I feel such a pull towards it .I cannot afford to go there ,but I have sent a prayer.I'm a spiritual christian .It says to walk backwards from praying as not to turn your back on God .To me that's respect.I have seen the women do this .But not one man ,why is this please.
Judith if you really want to go I will pay your ticket !
I and many many many men do walk backwards when departing the holy presence of the western wall aka the kotel.
